"HINDI PAKHWARA" OBSERVED IN 2016

"Hindi Pakhwara" was observed in The Braithwaite Burn and Jessop Construction Company Limited (BBJ) from 01st to 14th September, 2016. "Hindi Pakhwara" commenced with a speech addressed to the employees by Brig. B.D. Pandey, SM (Retd.), Chairman & Managing Director and Shri Sundar Banerjee, Director (Project) for doing the official work in Hindi. During two weeks long programme 'Hindi poetry recitation competition' and 'Hindi Writing Competition' were organized for the employees to promote Hindi language.

A "Message" conveyed by the Hon'ble Minister of Heavy Industry and Public Enterprise and the Hon'ble Minister of State were read over on the occasion of HINDI DAY. Employees showed enthusiasm and participated willingly. Prize distribution & Closing Ceremony of the "Hindi Pakhwara" was held at Conference Room of the company's Registered Office on 14th September, 2016.

A section of Senior Officers and employees attended various events. CMD and Director (Project) congratulated the winners of the competitions and they were given prizes and certificates. The Incharge - Official Language was complimented for his performance for implementation of Hindi in the Company.
