"Hindi Pakhwara" observed on 15th September, 2017 in BBJ Construction Co. Ltd

Hindi Pakhwara was observed in The Braithwaite Burn and Jessop Construction Company Limited (BBJ) from 1st to 15th September, 2017. Hindi Pakhwara commenced with a Message of CMD, BBJ to the employees for doing the official work in Hindi. During the period Hindi Rastriya Geet, Hindi Noting/drafting, Hindi Poetry recitation competitions were organized for the employees to promote Hindi language in official work as per Govt. directives.

A "Message" conveyed by the Hon'ble Minister of Heavy Industry and Public Enterprise and the Hon'ble Minister of State, HI&PE were read over on the occasion of Hindi Day.

Prize distribution and Closing Ceremony of Pakhwara was held on 15th September, 2017 at the Registered Office of the Company. Shri Sundar Banerjee, Chairman & Managing Director congratulated the winners of the various competitions and they were given prizes and Certificates by him. On this occasion, Shri Vimal Kishore Mishra, Asstt. Director, Hindi Teaching Scheme, Deptt. of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India was also present in the programme and he requested the employees to increase the use of Hindi in the official work of the Company.
